Yakima Valley
Conference of Governments Welcomes our new Senior Transportation Planner!
On February 2, 2010, the YVCOG was happy to bring Deborah "Deb" LaCombe on
staff as the long-awaited Senior Transportation Planner. Deb has worked
the last six years at the Spokane Regional Transportation Council as a Senior
Transportation Planner with emphasis in model development. Prior to
immersing herself in transportation, Deb enjoyed a 9 year stint in the US Navy
working with electronics. Following this, she built a broad environmental
base at Spokane's Clean Air Agency and at Spokane's Wastewater Treatment
Facility. Deb completed undergraduate studies in Physics from Eastern
Washington University, Cheney and earned a Master's degree in Business from the
University of Phoenix.
Deb states: "I'm excited to learn the best way to serve the friendly
folks in the Yakima Valley."
Don't hesitate to contact Deb if you have any
transportation planning issues or questions!
Welcome to Yakima Deb!

43
years ago, the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments (YVCOG) was established by the valley's community leaders.
They saw the need to create a forum to address an ever growing list of regional
concerns. This consortium has not only provided this forum, but now has grown to
be a key player in the research for development of studies and plans needed to
address these issues.
Our Mission
The overall goal of the YVCOG membership is to improve the valley's
livability
and secure its future.
