YOUR JOB DUTIES:

The Office Specialist is responsible for the work-flow and administrative tasks of the YVCOG office. This person must be able to communicate effectively with proven skills to be able to work through conflict as a solution based individual. The successful applicant is required to be able to meet deadlines of multiple projects he/she is working on simultaneously. Having a pleasant attitude and an easy-to-work-with demeanor is a requirement. This person will work with all personality types with different expectations and must be very detail oriented making only insignificant errors with all responsibilities they are tasked with. This person is required to have a thorough understanding and knowledge of YVCOG, filing of records, memberships, and our mission. This person must be a ‘go-getter’ with high energy that takes initiative with the job tasks assigned to them effectively performing the essential duties required of them.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

If this describes you, and you have 3 years’ administrative office duties in a complex governmental environment, the ability to maintain agendas, minutes, and records of governing boards, experience with record retention laws and requirements, the ability to interpret and use very complex policies and procedures, and the ability to identify techniques and strategies that support more effective and efficient administrative tasks; i.e., streamlining the flow of information and production of reports/forms, then be sure to download the complete description and follow the application instructions contained inside.
