Commute Trip Reduction The material presented here describes the Commute Trip Reduction program developed by the Yakima Valley Conference of Governments (YVCOG) . Included are suggestions for ridesharing, alternative work schedules, and telecommuting. You will also find some background information on the Washington State CTR Law and strategies that foster increased efficiency of the transportation systems and resources by influencing employee travel behavior by mode, time, frequency, trip length or route.
